We have arranged a holiday to Jersey for June 2026 and places are available for all members of Blackbourne u3a as well as our group. The group, which was formed in in 1990 meets at New Green, Thurston on the second Monday each month at 10am.
At our monthly meetings we discuss past and future trips and any other travel related items that members have come across that are interesting or useful to members. After a refreshment break we have a talk with photos from someone about one of their own holidays. Following the meeting some members adjourn to the White Horse at Beyton for lunch.
We arrange two trips each year, usually one in the UK and the other in Europe and encourage as many members as possible to come. Couples and single travellers are equally welcome and we make a point of mixing during days out and at mealtimes. Often we have places available for u3a members who are not part of our group.
Also on our programme are a Summer and a Christmas Lunch.
